  1. Hi Tracy, hope you remember me. I met you and your wonderful quilt for Marilyn at the Festival of Quilts and at a QG meeting. You mentioned that you were going to have a memorial quilt show where people could show quilts they had done to remember people by. We talked about my nephew Ben if you recall. Are you still planning to have the show, I believe you were thinking of Oct?
I haven’t started anything yet but it might give me the inspiration I need.

    Take care

    • Hi Sue

Please accept my sincere apologies for not replying sooner. I had an accident at Easter and am only really starting to get a bit better this week.

Yes I most definately remember meeting you and talking about your lovely nephew. I am still planning to have the exhibition on Sunday 27th October 2013 and the theme will be ‘Family and Friends’.

Now things are improving a little I am planning to post on the blog regularly again with details.

I hope you are well and apologies again for the delay in replying.

      Kindest regards

  2. Hi Tracy, it was good to see you at the FOQ, as always lots of wonderful inspiration. Every year I am blown away by the quilts and the creativity that goes into them. Hubby golfing today so I am making a baby quilt for my cousin which I hope to get finished soon. Baby was born in May so I am behind schedule. I am going to see my sister tomorrow and I hope we can come up with a design for Ben’s quilt. Hopefully I will have made something in time for your exhibition…Love Sue

  3. Hi Sue

It was great to see you too, I had said to Janet (M-in-L) on the way down that I hoped we would bump into you again.
I know what you mean about the FoQ – I feel exactly the same if not a bit overwhelmed by how good everyone is!
Hope you got your baby quilt finished, I am sure it is gorgeous. Don’t worry if you don’t have anything finished for the exhibition in October – it will be great to see you again. Hopefully you can spread the word and round up a few people to come!
    Speak to you soon.
